Free to Fall. Grama Film/BBC 4

When people die doing something they love, how can you blame them?

Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland plays host to a large community of bass jumpers, hang gliders, wing divers and extreme sport fanatics. Every year on average six people are killed.

The valley is also residence to traditional farmers, who keep goats, cattle and make cheese. Free to Fall finds out just how these communities can co-exist and follows the actions, thoughts and motives of the people who live and work there following the tragic death of a young wing diver.
